Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 20, 2026 • Version 1.0 (Public Alpha)
1Our Privacy Philosophy
At Project Kami, we believe users should own their reputation and data. We collect only the minimum information necessary to calculate debate consensus, manage your in-game identity, and distribute $KAMI tokens on Base Sepolia. We do not sell your personal data to data brokers, nor do we run invasive ad-tracking pixels.
2Information We Collect
When you interact with Project Kami, we collect the following categories of information:
Your chosen display name, avatar URL (generated via DiceBear or custom uploaded), and the authentication identifier provided via Privy (Google, Discord, Apple, or email).
Your public Ethereum-compatible wallet address on Base Sepolia, token transfer events, and smart contract transactions. (All public blockchain data is inherently transparent and immutable).
Swipes evaluated in The Forge (Agree, Hell Yes, Pass), debate takes submitted in The Architect Studio, consensus win streaks, Curator Score, and cosmetic border inventory.
Anonymized crash reports, app build version, and network latency logs required to fix bugs and prevent service outages.
3How We Use Your Information
- Consensus Engine: Aggregating community votes to determine debate outcomes and calculate majority agreement.
- Reputation & Hall of Kami: Ranking the top curators globally and spotlighting personality traits and win streaks.
- Reward Distribution: Sending $KAMI testnet tokens to your public wallet address when you earn consensus streaks.
- Fair Play & Security: Detecting bot activity, multi-accounting, and consensus manipulation scripts to protect the integrity of the arena.
4Third-Party Infrastructure
Project Kami works with trusted, industry-standard infrastructure providers:
- Privy: Manages authentication and non-custodial MPC wallet encryption. Privy does not sell user data.
- Supabase: Cloud-hosted PostgreSQL database enforcing Row Level Security (RLS) for user profile data and debate records.
- AniList: Public GraphQL API used to search anime titles and characters. No personal user data is transmitted to AniList.
- Base (Coinbase / OP Stack): Decentralized Layer 2 blockchain network where smart contract state transitions are permanently recorded.
5Your Privacy Rights & Account Deletion
You have the right to request a copy of your personal data or request permanent deletion of your off-chain profile from our Supabase database.
To request data deletion, contact us at support@projectkami.net or open a ticket in our community Discord with your verified public wallet address. Please note that transactions already confirmed on the Base blockchain are immutable and cannot be deleted or altered by any party.
6Children's Privacy
Project Kami is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a user under 13 has provided personal data, we will promptly delete such information.
7Contact & Policy Updates
We may periodically update this Privacy Policy as new features are added to Project Kami. We will notify users of material changes via app notifications or announcements on our official Discord and Twitter channels.
